Chromed brass with pin in base. Use the pin and clean it each use with alcohol, or leave it in the handle and never take it out.
These hammers are first quality: 20 cm length, nominally 131.7 gm, but being hand cast despite looking almost the same, they vary in weight from 4.50 to 4.95 ounces or 127.6 to 140.3 g. If this small weight difference matters to you, ask us for a heavier or lighter hammer and we'll give it our personal attention.
